I'm thinking of getting a cherry bomb backbox for my 1.0, just wondering what's a good size to get and for what sort of price?

Don't want it loud, just want a nice noise.

Are they easy to fit? I want it hidden.

One last thing, would it affect insurance a lot?

new one 50 sqid iv bought two one for the center and one at the tail however if you have a standard exhaust iv got a decate you can have for 10 and a cherry bomb i made for 20 good quality and stainless tip as I'm a welder and fabricator i can assurer you the welding is nice and air tight

Wouldn't recommend a cherrybomb then. They're known for their noise

Also they don't need a bumper cutout, but if your buying the one off nomad dubber it depends how he's welded it, more than likely it'll be low enough to sit under the bumper.

I loud exhuast on a 1litre 6n2 is a waste of time, you might like it for the 1st 10minutes but it just becomes anoying after.

induction kits on the ALD? engines give plenty of grunt.

Don't know much about induction kits, would prefer to avoid playing under the bonnet and just keep it simple for now.

Unless you wanna explain? And does it affect insurance much?

an exhuast will add more of a premium iirc.

Pretty much take your whole airbox of the top of your engine, bolt a pipe to throttle body with a universal cone filter at the end. done.

Induction noise sounds 10 times better than exhaust noise imo, tbh id just drill the shit out of the air box (awaits to be kicked to the floor in a ball of flames ) If it just a bit more noise your after then why not.

Drill a little hole in your standard backbox. Louder exhaust. Done.

No no noo I DON'T want it to be loud, just want it to sound nicer and throatier.. I think I'll have a look at induction kits in the new year :)

Make sure you make your own induction kit. Those kits you buy which cost like £100 are a right rip off.

iv got a MASSIVE K an N filter and connection pipe that will let the filter sit at the front near the grill, i put it on my sises scoda for a laugh it made an instant improvement urs for 40 squids
