HELP. My speedo doesn't work

hello, as in the tittle my speedo doesn't work. I've checked all the fuses and they are fine, everything is plugged in. But my rev and temp dials work. my petrol one is playing up too, every time i turn a corner it goes to full then empty.

can anyone help me with my speedo?

I had the same problem! I tried everything, new speed sensor, fuses, checked all the wiring etc. In the end it turned out my clocks were faulty!! Brought new clocks and everything worked again! What sort of dials have you got? I've got some 6n (early and late style) ones sittin in my garage! U can have them cheap seein as its christmas :)

I've got a 1998 1.4 8v 6n. I've no idea what dials but their black ones

is the rev counter on the left or the right?
