140mph+ in the ice?

Featured Replies

So , i was out the other night with a mate. was about 12:45AM

Me and my girlfriend are in my car

Him and his mates in his car.

Coming back on the motorway i see a lancer bobbling down the slip road , So I decide to let him in as he would have had to slow.

After being behind him , i noticed the car had some mods as it was bouncing like a polo does slammed going over a bumpy road

So anyway, after a while he puts his hazards on and slows to about 40mph on a dual and pulls over into the verge,

So I think okay, signal and go round, (noticed the car was also stripped)

All I hear is a huge roar

and he fly’s past me at insane speed.

Doing at least a 100 he cuts across 3 lanes , then into a "4th" (left only from slip road over chevrons)

Flys round the corner (also a roundabout) still accelerating in -7 degree conditions, so there was ice about.

As I got round, he was off doing over 140 I would say.

I pulled upto my mate at the leisure park and this guy had flew past him as well , he also said he was really going some.

After doing some texting i found out who’s car it was and apparently its running over 600bhp as well as all being stripped out.

now , point of this thread.

How the F**** can you Govern them speeds in the current weather!

Even in the summer it’s a but much

I suppose he only gripped the floor because of the huge aeroplane wing on the boot

But seriously in this kind of weather , Him and his passenger. One small patch of ice and that’s it. All over

Legend... I was happy when I touched 125 in my Astra, what with all the dickheads doing 30. It's only ice ffs.

Evo driver sounds like a bit of a cock. He'll get what's coming to him, unfortunately probably wiping out someone innocent in the process.

I await the "cool stoy bro" pic lol

But yeh sounds mental good job he didn't lose it

Thats far to dangerous no one should do that regardless if the roads are dry or as icy as they are in the recent weeks!

Leave it to the track!

My cars aren't fast enough to hit 140 on any of my local tracks, so I have to use the road :(

What? to speed ?

Don't get me wrong theres no better feeling when your on a nice empty long straight road with your foot all the way down on the accelarator. But everyone should know between driving fast whilst being safe and being a complete COCK!

I wouldn't dare go over 100mph, I treasure my license too much. But every man to himself I suppose.

Can't forget the A975 Toby...thats a good track road.

In my own personal opinion if your on a national speed limit road and you look in control of your car I don't mind what speed your doing. Its the people who attempt to hit three figures in a residential area that annoys me. But us normal citizens have no way of knowing how fast anyone else is going so I don't know how you can be sure he was doing 140mph unless you were following him at that speed...which I doubt.

If he was doing that kind of speed though just to show off and be a cock then chances are it will bite him in the ass...just hope that you are nowhere near him when it does.

Can't forget your mum.

I must have been up to about 60 - 70 just after he shot past, and he really did go whoosh

Words just cant describe how quick it was , I've done 120 on a completely clear stretch of straight motor way in the summer.

For me that felt fast, seeing how quick he got upto and around the corner was amazing.

Seeing how fast he got to the roundabout after the bend he must have been going AT LEAST 140 , Honestly couldn’t believe how quick the car was.

Even my mate who the lancer passed said he was really going for it , Although he had long gone from me Mate right up front said that he crossed the roundabout and accelerated again and was just gone

I've been down to race tracks and stuff and seen fast cars but christ , that lancer belongs on one.

I'm not too bothered about him killing his self , doing that speed round corners in freezing temps , its the innocent road users who get killed..

If it was on a straight stretch with just us two with a clear road ahead and nothing hazardous near then no doubt id egg him on but wrong place , wrong time

And that last bit about biting in the ass , I dont know how his backend remained on the floor. Wide wheels and a huge spoiler... I thought he would loose it to be honest and total the car

Agreed. About 80% of the f*ckers use the car what it was made for in the correct place.

I get a lot of those tossers up my area..
