The polo mk3 is doing me in... drives fine and then stalls normally when coming off the power and then is a job to start. Its getting more and more frequent and takes longer to start. Have changed:

-plugs

-fuel filter

-distributor cap

-rotor arm

and has a ignition coil on its way

The fuel pump does work, when turn key it pump for 3 or so sec then cut out. so dnt think its that

have you tryed the Distrebutor? best too test out a mates dissy or go to the scrappies to get a cheap one.

What's it like starting in the morning?

Could be hall sender

yeah could be temperature sensor (blue one iirc?) more likly this than the dizzy.

Easy fix and cheap :)

It does it when its worm or cod but normally warn got a distributor and coil park coming so will try that.

checked all your hoses for air leaks?

iv resealed the inlet and carb, the hoses are in gd nick

quite simple really.

If youve never owned a mk3 polo then you probably wont know.

Its a common symptom. They overfuel and run like shite pop fart and cut out when you drop the clutch rolling upto lights etc.
