I posted a few pics of it before i finished it,Now its done and a years racing under its belt.

I've run a best of 10.20 @130mph, early in the year, while still learnin to drive it and the launch RPM limit not at full it ran 2.3 seconds

0-60mph,

Plans are to add a 100hp shot of gas, some taller rear gears and some new slick and drop it in to the mid/low 9 second bracket

The engine is a 460ci Ford 'big block' thats about 7.6liters! The motor isn't too wild, stock block thats been aline honed,decked and torque plate honed, Stock crank and rods with ARP bolts, JE forged pistons balanced crank(thats what i do for a living). Mildy ported heads with the largest stock size valve 294 duration 600" lift cam and a Holley 4 barrel carb

Gear box is a 2 speed GM powerglide automatic with all uprated internals modified so its a manual shift only 'box. The biggest trick in the box is called a trans brake(for those not big in to Drag racing) when I'm on the line with it in 1st gear i press a switch on the steering wheel which locks it in reverse gears too! this alowes me to floor the trottle with out the car moving! Pretty much like dumpin the clutch with lots of revs on, also it has a 3 stage rev limit with 1 stage activated by the same button to stop it over revin on the line, the other two are on the line lok for a burn out rev limit and the other is a high end rev limit!

Rear axle is a Ford 9" with is a heavy duty american car/truck axle, modifeid with 1 peice heavy duty half shafts and spool, wich replaces the diff and locks both half shafts togeather.

As Matt says i bought an bare body and chassis of an old race car i used to watch when i was a young kid(I'm now 27).

I added all the suspention, axle, engine all the interior and every thing eles you can thing of, buildin ever thing bar the gearbox my self.

This is how it started in around 1973( hence the screan name btw)
