I've owned a few polos now, this one being the ONE lol, so I thought Id put up a post.

Model: 6N2 SE

Engine: 1.4 16v, stainless 4-branch (not fitted yet)

Suspension: JOM Coilovers

Brakes: Standard all round for the time being

Wheels and Tyres: Standard SE alloys 14x6 185/55's

Exterior Styling: Bonnet bra from time to time, yellow tinted front fogs, De-wipered the rear and removed the 'polo' + '1.4' badges from the boot

Interior Styling: Magic tree :-D

ICE and Security: Sony head unit with edge component speakers + amp

Well I bought the car a few months back now for £600 with a broken gearbox, I couldnt find a spare box anywhere at the time so I decided to order the new bearings and seals from work and give it ago my self. Got it done in the end but dont think ill be doing it again any time soon :-)

Since getting it back on the road I've just fitted some JOM coilovers to get it looking good and a few other small things. But I've got some big plans, Ill be working on the interior first so keep watching .

Here's a few pics of the car as it is now, Ill see if I can dig out a few more later.

Here's another pic I just found.

Right I went on abit of a drive yesterday to collect some bits, should keep me busy for a while :-)

Got the a/c pump + bracket, a/c radiator and condenser + all the pipe work for under the bonnet, all the plastic ducting and pipes for behind the dash as well as the climate control unit and a full wiring loom to get it all working. Got loads of other bits too but they were the main ones, Ill prob have to pick up a few bits as I go along like the aux belt etc...

Should make a fun project.

If anyone has any under bonnet pics of a GTI or 16v with a/c fitted so I can figure out where all the pipes go that would be a great hep and much appreciated.

Cheers guys, had a look at the loom last night and labled most of it up to make it abit easier when fitting, not something I'm looking forward to lol

Yeah I think I'm going to get a GTI spoiler along with a few other bits, but the exterior is staying the same for the time being as I'm going to concentrate on the interior first.

Ok when I do it, Ill pm you a few pics

Fitted two new front top mounts today as they looked like they could do changing when I fitted my coilovers but didn't get round to it at the time.

Also raised up the suspension slightly cuz theres too many pot holes and speed bumps in my area

haven't updated in a while, Ill be making a start on the climate control soon but as alot of the interior will have to come out to fit the wiring I've been busy buying bits.

Got a set of MK3 golf colour concept heated recaros to go in, they are in ok nik but had a fair bit of wear on the drivers bolster and the leather had started to crack in some places so I've decided to get a retrim. Ill get some pics up when I get them back :-D
