Hi Guys,

I have for sale a VW Polo 6N2 1.4 16V 2000 (Y Plate) for sale. The car has 99k on the clock and has served me well until now. The cambelt went last week so it will require a new engine as my friend who is a mechanic has said the valves must have bent but he didnt fully inspect it.

The car requires a new engine and someone on here already has an engine for sale so it could be a quick fix.

The gearbox and starter motor have been swapped to another polo. The faulty ones are in the boot if someone wants to recondition them. BBS Solitudes have been removed and gone back to steelies!

I bought the car on 66k and since then I got it serviced twice. I have one service document which was done by Awesome GTI.

The interior is standard and the drivers seat has a couple fag burns but these can be replaced easily. Everything else seems fine.

The exterior is damaged on the drivers side and passenger side as you can see in the pic.

how does a offer of 210 cash sound? this retails at 950 odd with the high mileage and then there all the body smashes, so i cant see how u can justify askin 700 quids for it, as a engine will cost 300 quids easily

The Gearbox is worth £200-£300 alone. BBS Solitude on the car aswell. A guy is selling an engine on this forum aswell for pretty cheap. Half the price of £300. £210 is well below what I am looking for.

quality engines r never cheap, I'm buyin one from a scrap yard with warranty, anyway if you are lookin for 700 quid then i'ii leave it as if u look on gumtree u can buy the complete car in minted conditions for 950 quids, so seems a bit stupid payin 700 for a smashed engine car

if u take the gearbox and al;loys off then this car would b worth even less!!!

Removed the Gearbox so the car has a faulty gearbox and engine. The car needs to go so any offers??
