Hi I'm new to this site, if this is in the wrong section i appologise and dont mind if it gets moved so it gets more respone lol.

Ok so what i want to know is; I'm buying an 02 reg polo 1.4 16v sport from a friend at works girlfriend, anyways is £1000 cheap for a car that has done roughly off the top of his head 100,000 miles, is this high/low/average. I know its not been ragged as shes not that type of girl. Its got a cracked n/s wing mirror and o/s fog lamp cover or glass.

So is this worth £1000 of my hard earned pennies. I know ze Germans make good quality cars so i think it should last some time. Also links to items or names of parts to get the euro look? Can i change the front lights so they "join" together? Many thanks and I'm glad tobe getting on the VDUB scene :-D
