Vauxhall CAV Slabs on a polo ?

Featured Replies

I've seen this done on a few polos ,, and i have managed to come across a set of cav slabs for peanuts :) ,,, so i was just wondering what is needed to get them to fit as i belive cav slads are et49 and my polo is et35 ,,, i think anyway lol ,, i know the center bore is wrong 2 but i have a friend who has a machine that can take a tiny bit out of the center to correct that ,,, so what do i need ???

spacers ? if so how big and where from lol ???

thanks in advance

no 1 have any info ???

Vauxhall offset is high, so will deffo need spacers. Think the centre bore is different too. Personally I would get a set of VW Estoril alloys from a Corrado if you like the look of those ;)

cav slabs center bore is 56.6 an dubs are 57.1

so have to be milled out just a tad can be done diy with a drill an sanding flap wheel thing.

think there et 49 if I'm not mistaken.. need a few mill spacer to clear the front calipers

here a pic of my old ones

If you put a non-hubcentric spacer on each wheel of at least 10mm you wont need to do anything with the centre bore.

Rotate the wheel as you turn the bolts in by hand, you'll have no centring issues.
