I'm squeeky clean :) 0 points

36 in a 30. If it was 32 in a 30 I would've laughed and went to court and asked how often everyone goes to 32mph!

Not sure about your cars but i'm running 14's with 195/45 tyres on. And when i'm doing an indicated 30, i'm actually doing something like 26mph (GPS). So in order to be caught doing 32, it'd be indicating roughly 36/37 if that makes sense.

Not sure what the point of my post is but there we go

SP50 in the 8v POLO!!!!!!!!

3 points

6 points :(

Confusing tho, i called up the DVLA and they said they go after 3 years but they stay on your licvense for 5?

i was caught on a courtesy bike doing 59 in a 30, 1mph more and would of been banned (1st year)

my dad got a telling off on his postmans bike for doing 31 down a hill

i thought there was a 10% margin to allow for inaccurate speedo's and incorrectly calibrated guns and stuff :?

I got 8 points in one and a 450 quid fine for driving without insurance. Not proud, it was many years ago...I should imagine penalty is MUCH worse now.

3pts for doin 47 in a 30

ghey!

I'm runing 13x9 with 195/45 tyres, hate to think what mine is like. I can get it of the speedo though which is quite impressive for a 1.4 8v!!! hahaha :lol:

speedo go up to 140?

only reason i got the sp30 was due to being on the outside lane and the van on the inside lane decided to slow down alot earlier than normal going towards the round a bout, so it looked like i was about to undertake him when i wasn't, so it was either a driving without due care and attention or a sp30. hmmm which would you choose

running 7x13 with 175/50 tyres, my speedo is a full 15% out.

I can hit 6700 in 5th, 123mph on the speedo, 107 on the roadangel.

So i never get done for speeding.

I've got a cleam licence at the mo, touch wood, i normally seem to have 3 points omst of the time, get done about every 4-5years.

woo i was doin 60 in a 30.long open road no houses.i got pulled they just said take it easy

Why's it a 30 then?

few places near me like that mate its nuts.

or 60mph sighn then followed by 4 hairpins lol

so whats the average penalty etc for each?

sp30 i know is 3points 60 fine

sp50?

diving without due care and attention?

driving without insurance?

driving through a no entry?

As i come accross it with work with commercial vehicles but not sure what points they get?

It's 3 years for the 12 point totting up.

4 years till you can send a £19 cheque to DVLA and get them wiped.

5 years till they're official 'spent' under the rehabilitation of offenders act and you're under no obligation to let anyone know, ie insurance or employer.

SP50 = speeding on a motorway, so usual 3 points/£60 unless it's serious

due care and attention, 3-11 pts, usually 3, not sure on usual fine - would depends on severity.

without insurance = 6-8, usually 6, local rag usually prints fines of about £150, depends on circumstances though.

driving through no entry - all failing to comply with signs are 3 points, would probably get a FPN, so £60.

man thats harsh, the police are money grabbing thieves

There is no such thing as an average fine/penalty/punishment for any offence - UNLESS its your average 30ish in a 30 (for example) which means its all done via post and its £60 and 3 points.

On 'excessive speeding' i.e. more than 30mph over the limit, its a court appearance (unless your very stupid and represent yourself via post) and then its very dependant on that persons current situation and previous history.

Bragging about getting away doing double the speed limit in THE most important speed zone just means your a fucking silly nice person. Love you.
