Paint looks real good on that last shot.

It's funny the rear of my car has nicer paint than the front too, my bonnet is awful lol.

Cheers mate, Yeah I know ha, though the rear panel and bumper have both had a respray at somepoint...Can tell from the amount of paint on the beam below the bumper, the numberplate bulbs and where they have sprayed over the petrol cap without masking it up properly

Probably had a hit at some point.

Yeah lol my roof and bonnet are the worst affected areas, really does need seeing to lol

Only some minor updates

Travelled upto bridgwater with a friend last week, stopped off at Dubmeister on the way and picked up a set of pressed plates ;d

The girl who runs it is actually quite hot

Took a few pics of the car whilst cleaning the bumpers after I removed the old plates..didn't think i'd like it as much without the plates as I did heh.

Also bought a new aerial seal and polished the bonnet and roof (not polished in pic btw)

Some gammon has previously resprayed the roof however done a shite job and sprayed over the base of the old aerial seal, therefore it chipped when i removed it >.<

Currently running my stock alloys aswell due to the fact that I had more than 2 other people in the car alot lately and massive rub on the rear arches, ordering some 165/55/14's in the next 2 weeks though so gonna take this chance to finally give the BBS' a refurb.

Also took a cheeky snap whilst my mate came over the other day

Yeah haha, was tempted to not fit them for a bit, but after about 5 mins changed my mind

I need to sort out a problem with my front coilover this week, the top plate/mount is slightly raised for some reason :/

Then I can set about getting the new tyres and more lows

The polishing was a bitch, don't have a machine buffer so did it by hand using that turtlewax polish..did the job but top of the doors are fooked, just a matte red in places :(

I'm still considering selling and getting a 1.4 or 1.4 16v, however really like the red heh, even if it is a bitch when it fades

The same sort of problem with one of my rear coilovers I had if you remember? I still haven't sorted that by the way lol.

I'm actually tempted to buy new coilovers as my back ones are playing up and the back left doesn't seem to want to actually lower the car anymore, even after a full drop and drive around the local village...bleh, might just take a hammer to them.

And yeah xD 3 people in the car the other week and had to get a fair bit into second to reach 25mph :/

I'm thinking of selling mine near end of summer, I think i'll probably go for another 6n however lately 6n2's have really been growing on me....especially prox's heh.

It has meant that new tyres have had to be pushed back yet again to next month's payday though :(

Well GSF sold me the wrong water pump, fortunately mine was in good condition so taking that back on monday!

New cambelt is now in which was lucky as the old one was shagged and very worn!

Also need to get a new alternator belt as mine has a small rip in it and is also very worn... so all should be running smoothly for a while now

New tyres, refurbed alloys and more lows soon! :)

very easy to fit bud, didn't need to undo the aerial bolt or anything, just ripped the old one off and slipped the new one over the top!
