Ordered a 6n2 bonnet extension for my womans polo back in october (i think) and was supposed to be a christmas present for her. a few weeks later, no extension, so i phoned venom who very vaguely told me it should arrive next week. Two weeks later--nothing. So another phone call and again, its gonna be another week with no explanation.....Very Peeed off by this point. Arrangements already made with bodyshop for work to be done and yet another week later and another phonecall....it was explained that venom DO NOT actually have the bloody thing to send anyway. Its being sent from Germany!! Being fair to Venom they cant magically make it arrive on my doorstep in an instant right? Being left with such a short time before the big Christmas day...i again phoned venom, and with a very careless attitude, was told either to get a refund or wait. I must say his attitude did stink (could smell it down the phone.) With no time now to order another i had no choice but to wait............and wait........and a bit longer..... and guess what?? Saturday 8th January and still no extension!

To cut a long story short, i will never again use venom.

No doubt that as venom sponsor this site and the nature my topic, i am sure to be banned from this forum.

I would actually have been ok with the situation had the customer service been a little more pleasant. The attitude of 'well if you dont like it its tuff 5H1T.

As i say this may be my last time on this forum as admins generally have their heads up their arsssesss.

You won't get banned for saying Venom are shit... I think we all know that. Saying the admins have their head up their arses might just be enough though!

aaaahhhh, are the mods the sensitive kind....Actually it was wrong of me to insult the mods (gods) here. Its venom that peeed me off and not the mods of this forum. Just wanted to let off a little steam over what hapened and everybody got a piece of the shit pie (even santa).

Chill out mate! The mods are fine on here, I've been here a couple of years and never had any issues with any one of them.

I would also like to express my hate for venom 'motorsport', I ordered some top mounts from them, recieved confirmation of my order etc etc; then nothing came, ever!

Even after many emails (which not one was replied to).

Bunch of fucking morons, If i were you mate i'd take your business elsewhere, you could find out where they're ordering it from in Germany and go order it yourself.

Looks like I'm not getting banned after all!! In the end i think i have totally given up on venom motorsports and will be in touch for a refund, however i still need the metal bonnet extension asap!! Any ideas where to get one from??????

Pug-n-polo I couldnt agree with you anymore about venom they are wank i bought some ally strutbraces off them when i eventually got them, the rear strutbrace was bent! so I had to send it back then wait a age again for a new rear one, by which time i realised the front was slightly bent aswell!

So in the end i drove down there and threw the scrap metal on there desk then just let rip saying i wanted a refund.

I think people need to just read this post propely, Pug Polo as apologised about his rant at the mods so that is end off. As for Venom I have had

mixed service, great for info on pcd adaptors but when I ordered something I also had to wait as it was being shipped from germany. It took me chasing them to get an answer. However at least R and A design have shut, I ordered stuff from them and they took the money even though they were going out of business, so got well shafted there. Just by 2p's worth but I think an apology should be accepted.

Just ordered my suspension kit from venom, along with some powerflex bushes. The bushes are here (came 4th jan), the kit is not. I emailed them and they said it should be here middle of this week.....

iv had two apsolutely terrible services from venom, one was a badgeless grill for my saxo 2 year go that took 5 months to come with me phoning them every 3 days to ask where it was and them saying it will be in at the end of the week. (i should of asked for my money back but it was like £20 cheaper than anywhere else so i waited)

and then again for my lowering springs for my 6n .. took 6 weeks and a phone call everyday for them too finally say that they would source me some other springs which were more expensive at no extra cost and i had them the next day. but the guy i spoke too when i phoned them back to see if they had sorted it out was very arsey and his exact words were "well your getting more expensive springs at no extra cost what more do you want ? me to drive them up there for you?"

complete tools in my opinion, if you cant trade in the deleivery times you specify, dont trade at all

pug-n-polo, Thanks for warning people about them.. I was planning on ordering some stuff at the end of the month but since i have read this i think i must be stupid to still order. I would rather buy from somewhere else (maybe pay alittle more) than pay for something and not get it..

I actually ordered parts for my Touran from Venom - as the price that was quoted on ebay (via Venom) were cheaper than what i could get them at trade. So I bought FK Coilovers and FK de-badged grill.

The Grill arrived within 3 days - as described on the ebay auction. The coilovers were another matter - they had never had anyone order Touran coilovers before and didnt have any in stock. So they ordered a set directly from FK to be delivered to me from Germany.

When the kit arrived it was for a 2005> Passat! I called to ask if this was the right kit - they said that they didnt know as they were middle men. So I said what does FK say. They told me they couldnt tell me if it would fit or not - Could I call them back once I'd had a go at fitting it!!

So I had to do loads of research myself on ETKA & on the club Touran site to make sure they would fit before going ahead with the fitting.

Why sell something if you dont know it would even fit?? Luckily it fitted!

your previous post was a half-hearted and conditional attempt at an apology,and my post was valid for your attitude not only in the original post but to the point of writing. And still sustains some validity to this stage, imo.

Also,even the most genuine apology doesn't just suddenly mean anything that happened before suddenly doesn't exist. If it did,we could all do what the hell we liked and shirk off the responsibility to account for it with ease.

Giving it the big cock may seem the way forward to you,but it doesn't seem to have done you any favours here,as i see it.
