My 6n2

Featured Replies

Here's my mate Dave's 6n2 logged onto my account, -got it about a year back off my nan! Just got it back from the sprayers who smoothed the bumpers, sprayed the boot, bonnet and the wing (as my nan dented it!). So i thought i would give it a nice polish and take some piccys.

Mainly small mods:

Smoothed bumpers and boot

Debadged Grill

New back box (soon to be a system),

Sprayed wheels and calipers,

New headlights and protectors

Stubby aerial

K&N induction kit

6x9s and new cd player

Xenon bulbs

Future Mods:

Weitec lowering springs (in the post)

Exhaust system

Remote central locking

New 15"wheels

Comments welcome cheers!

yeah there wicked! £5.95, bargain! :p

Some nice touches mate, will look even sweeter when lowered :p

Cheers mate! :) Just to mention, the car is mine but my mates account was logged on and i didn't notice so its on his!

Looks clean mate! Get it lowered :)

I wouldn't mess around with lowering springs. Speaking from past experience. I bought Joni lowering springs for my old 8v and they hardly lowered at all. Wasn't even noticeable.

Not to my taste with the wheels etc!

and i'd of got the boothandle smoothed and kept the VW badge!

but its proper red and its still smart, good job of the mods you've done

i also agree, don't get springs, coilovers all the way, i've had both and i can't believe how much better the coilovers are in everyway

edit: how much did your front bumper smooth cost?

yeah I'm getting new wheels too and i dont like the boots with no handle- TOO smooth! but thats my opinion! I was gonna get coils but my mate has some and there SO bouncy and I'm after ride comfort more tbh, my mate has some lowering springs and they looked fine and low enough for me :)

that air filters restricting the air flow more than the standard set-up...

other than that it looks smart

and i got my bumpers, boot, bonnet and wing all sprayed at the same time for 400 :D

  • 1 month later...

Right, so been a while since i updated! Got some new bits and bobs for the car, springs fitted, some new shoes so thought i would take some pics, excuse the dirtyness of the car, needs a polish! Got some new lights so will get some pics at night! Enjoy!

Not too bad, people will say lower, but i think it looks fine that way! not 4x4 height yet not silly low!

What alloys u running?

Looks like a good starter :) Get it Lowered though ;)
