yup scammer, various address locations, ebay gearbox picture, made up postcode, various names, josh newton, mark stevens, all with the same name and number email addresses

claim your money back if i were you

these are just my assumptions, if someone has actually got some items, then please post.

Just logged on to PayPal and money was already refunded, not sure if he refunded it or paypal did because they had suspected something.

i paid £160 for coilovers, gti headlights and a bonnet bra this morning, thinking about it now a bit of a bargain tbhh

he was always very very quick to reply to PM's and i messaged him this morning telling him i had paid and have had no reply...

thinking about it now it was a bit suspicious that he gave me two different paypal accounts in different PM's, one being joshnewton15@gmail.com and the other being bigmonster123@live.co.uk

dont know what to think of it atm, i might leave it a day to see if i get a reply, if not can i get a refund ???

Paypal is terrible you will find it very difficult unless you report it as an unauthorised transaction. I telephoned my bank, visa and then issued an unauthorised transaction claim. I was refunded within 30 minutes. If you paid with a credit card you will be safe. I always use cc for larger transactions, but as this was only 20 quid I opted for my debit.

If anyone needs any help with regards to paypal, pm me. I've been selling as a business user on ebay, with paypal for several years and seen it all.

yes via paypal, trying to sort it out man! I'm probably more stupid for not asking for a picture, and he called himself liam jones on one paypal account, then asked me to pay into another account, which was under bartlet designs or something, damnnn thought i was going to have an engine which i was in need of. i would use bad language and big words and call him lots of names but where on a forum :)

you reckon he was trying to make his sale look real by doing these topics and not answering texts etc.

we should list all the emails the scammer has used. May be able to trace him, they can't all be newly registered.

Just a quick search of his number and you find several adverts on pistonheads and other sites selling a 6n2 for far far below the price it should be. Obviously a serial scam artist! Lucky I got my money back. This kid needs a visit.
