anyone who has paid on paypal (as long as you didnt send the money as a gift) just open a dispute with them and you will get your money back.

How much does it actually cost to use paypal as a proper transaction rather than a gift? As in percentage or whatever?

The amount of these threads you see on here, and others it's beyond belief that people will continue to do deals unprotected.

Its 3.4% + 20p

Not worth the ball ache then really is it.

This is why you should post in the thread saying you've bought the item.

If the 1st person had have done this... it would have saved others grief and probably pissed the nice person off too

Something along those lines may be worth putting into the sticky thing at the top of the pages?

If people updated the thread then others would atleast be suspicious when the seller says something along the lines of 'nahh, it fell through mate'

but that does lead to another problem of idiots saying 'fogs sold' when infact there not .

i'm not that bothered bout the money as i broke my own rule of not using the buyer protection and being tight, skimping that 2 quid or whatever it was.

i'd still like to floor him though. if he's bigger then me, i'll write a letter asking nicely for him not to do it again.

i paid £160 for coilovers, gti headlights and a bonnet bra this morning, thinking about it now a bit of a bargain tbhh

he was always very very quick to reply to PM's and i messaged him this morning telling him i had paid and have had no reply...

thinking about it now it was a bit suspicious that he gave me two different paypal accounts in different PM's, one being joshnewton15@gmail.com and the other being bigmonster123@live.co.uk

dont know what to think of it atm, i might leave it a day to see if i get a reply, if not can i get a refund ???

He also used mrmonster@live.co.uk and mrenglish@gmail.com HES VERY SILLY!!!

paypal?

Yeah i paid on paypal, not as a gift tho. I've been on there and done a dispute? is that right?

I always trust people on this site with my stuff that I've bought, but it just shows u some people really are pathetic..

I also bought some things off this guy. Theres always one that has to spoil it for the rest!!!!!!

I used paypal too, whats the best course of action, I've started a dispute, and changed it to a claim, but paypal are saying that they are giving the guy until the 21st of January to reply (which he obvs isnt going to do). Do I just have to wait?

this guy is gonna be minted unless your claims go through lol
