Bad points

Gearbox (obviously), I have lost 4th gear and it generaly sounds awful when in gear.

2 small dings on front wing (size of a £1 coin)

Last week I replaced the battery for a new one. It also had a new wheel bearing a few months back.

I am based in Haverhill which is right on the Cambridge, Essex, Suffolk boarders.

The car does drive, however I have lost 4th gear and it generaly sounds awful when in gear but can be tested, however I would not recommed driving it too far.

i heard the polo 1.4 16v gearbox's fit i have found one of these for £220 (second hand 80k been done on it)

its only down the road from me if u do want it let me know.

i just haven't got time to fit this thats all i wish i could keep it.

they dont fit u need a proper gti box which wil cost 500 quid fitted with decent clutch and warranty

I'm feelin this car but not the price as 1000 is bit too much

mate these sell for like £2500 if u put a box in it for £500 then u still got a car worth £2500 that u have only payed £1500

mate look on ebay/ gumtree with this mileage they fetch 850-1500 quid MAX

the 2.5k cars r low milers with full main dealer history and even they dont sell quick as there overpriced.

I've seen some around for 4months+ priced at 2k+, there's one chap who's had his forsale 10months at 3.2k!!

If you are not being realisitc on price i'ii leave it
