i just thought i shall bring in a previous project which i completed within 2007-2008. its a mk3 mini shell a limited edition italian job. originally white with white minilites black bumpers and headlight bezels. this was my love and caused me and my ex to break up. extreme i know :p turned out ok in the end. i will add pictures from tommorow onwards i wont over do it as to push other polo'ers out of the spotlight as that wouldnt be fair. ill add them when I'm bored just for people to have a shimmy at. hope you all see the hard work that went into her. (she was a bad shell)... :)

these few pics are a couple of days after picking her up. she had new inner and outer sills but done badley so eventually they were changed further along in the build, also full new front end fitted and new doors, roof, rear quarters, bootlid, front floor sections, boot floor.... etc... :)

engine on removal.

running a 1275 a+series engine with 1" 3/4 su (hif44) with optimised afm. port matched, polished and flowed head. new v.springs, seals etc.

4.2.1 maniflow manifold.(mild steel). new dizzy drive ,rotor arm, cap and leads. new colder plugs (swear by them) :)

all block seals replaced, also new idle gear, gearbox removed and checked for any internal wear, damage. all like new not a spec of swarf. (shell had only done a hand full of miles we found out. will think of other things that got done in the future. otherwise this will end up being boring....
