you could lower on coilies, and then put different sized tyres on and mess it all up anyway, then again incorrect tyre sizes probably invalidate insureance too, its a scamm

Any insurance company will allow you to make your policy a 'laid up' policy, however you still have to pay the same premiums for the rest of the year. When it comes time to renew, then your premiums will drop. Most will say it's not worth doing that, just because your car is laid up and not driveable the risks are still the same??? WTF???

I did this a few years ago when I was carrying out a major refurb on another car. I had to pay the rest of the year the same (only 4 months IIRC) then at renewal I had to phone them again and tell them the car was still laid up and in my garage. I think the premium was less than 50% of original. However that was a fair few years ago so things might have changed. As said before, best email or phone them, they won't discuss individual cases by email as it's not secure enough?? But you can specify a time and date for them to call you that way you won't have to foot the cost of the phone call or listen to that sh*t musak!

Been with them 3 years now with my polo gt an my mk4 polo ever had a problem Wiv them! I told them bout very mod I did to them!!
