been on this again today and got the inner wing all welded up. few shots of what i've been doing

just need to drill a few holes in the top of the inner wing when i fit the wings, but other that that it's done. still didn't get round to the doing any work on the sill though

yeah it should be on the road well before then (hopefully in the next month or so), not sure if the conversion would be in by then tho. it's not so much a case of getting the money then buying the parts i need, it's a case of getting the money then waiting for the parts to come for sale sooner or later

well weather has stop play on this for the last 5 or six weeks, it seems as soon as the weekend comes around so does the rain. today is the first time i've been about to get a proper good go at it in a while, no massive progress but i'm most of the way through sorting out the sill now, one more good day on it and that should be done and i can start tidying it up. this sill seems to have taken forever tho

You can use manta bilstein rear shocks and there plentiful. Go on the manta club for bits. I had a 16v ate brake disc conversion for my kadett which i sold ages ago, just trying to search for the website. Was about £100 for the spacer redrilled discs and bolts well worth it over that girling 2pot crap.

You can get the manta A rear axle just bolts up so you can run a bigger engine you could try your original 1256 axle but it'd blow up spectacularly lol. You can get engine conversion parts from sbd or yukspeed for mounts or exhaust manifolds or even blanking plate for the 8 or 16v dizzy, theres also loads of helpful blokes on turbosport.

Engines dont bother with the cih engines there old & arcaic for cheaps go 8v route 1.8 carb manta engine or 1.8se 2.0ser-seh injection from an astra or cav then use the manta 1.8 sump, mounts, dizzy setup but there going up or they already are £££

If your going bigger engine weld up the engine bay and arounf the turrets as there only thin metal and like to rip.

Check your boot floor and the inner arches they love the tin worm
