I bought the car around about a year ago in shit condition, had a new gearbox and clutch put in, had it serviced and has run sweet as a nut ever since.

Car details:

1.4 8v

6n

openair

black

I bought it with:

- smoother front bumper

- angel headlights

- rust look bonnet

- stripped out interior (no carpets, centre console, etc.)

I bought it in this state:

after owning it around a month:

- new carpets

- new centre console

- sound system installed

- graffiti on the bonnet

- new bbs wheels

- bit more low

- wheel spacers on rears

- new aerial

- new numberplates

- openair roof siezed :(

got it to this state:

since then:

- new rear bumper

- passed MOT with no advisories

- new coil pack

January 2011:

- new set of red and black 6ns seats

- new openair roof installed and working

- keyless entry central locking installed

will get photos of new interior asap

plans for pretty soon:

- wider wheels

- pacman board over whole bonnet (done professionally)

- black carpets and centre console

- get 6n2 doorcards fitted

- spray roof and mirrors black

any ideas or suggestions, let me know :)

luke................i couldn't fit the doorcards, they didn't fit......

royal............. yeh i can't wait either, will be pretty sweet, and I'm not sure on wheels yet, ill wait until something takes my fancy

rzezin.......... i haven't installed central locking, I'm waiting for the money to clear so i can pay for it, paypal takes "5-7 working days" to clear the money from my bank into the account which is shit but yeh, ill still want the kit whenever the money clears but no worries if u sell it sooner

update: went to small vw meet tonight so a few pics of my car will be up soon :)

aha yeh i know, thats why i didn't complain to you :p i love the seats anyway so I'm happy!

sweet, i'll have a go at fitting them as they're lush!

Haven't updated this in ages, has loads done...............

- New red and black interior

- Exhaust system replaced

- New starter motor

- New working openair roof

And, I'm picking up some 13x7 wheels on saturday which will look sweet

Doorcards are now covered in red velour to match the interior, they look mint!

i am picking up some 13x7 starmags tomorrow morning, will get them on my car and take some pics

Right, a photo on the starmags, its not amazing as camera died and it had been raining, will get some much better photos of its stance and interior :)

Now have DTM mirrors fitted :) heres a pic from manc union meet and a rolling shot........

i know its tiny, but the rainbow was mental driving back from manc union, was literally on the road!

getting a new bonnet as soon as i find out which will just be metallic black :)

cheers :) front needs to go down another 10/20 mm i reckon but that will happen after i move house and don't have to go over this 1 ridiculous speed bump anymore!!

bonnet is now matt black!!
