wiring on the loom damage

just discovered i have split wiring on the lamda sensor connection, problem is its on the loom connection and is to close to the plastic connection to strip back and have enough wire to solder to. can i get hold of the connection and maybe 2 3 inch of wire to repair or am i got to have to struggle?
