I should hopefully be getting my hands on a boot lid spoiler within the next week and have done a little bit of a search. Looks like it's glued on with the same stuff the stone bumber strips on the side are done with.

My question is, are their any techniques i should know about apart from just sticking some Tigerseal on there and lining it up correctly and pushing on?

Or are we looking at a job where it's best to take the boot lid off completely?

I've never used this sort of glue before so any help would be handy!!

tigerseal is realy good stuff. Just put the tiger seal on press it in place and hold it in place with some 2" masking tape otherwise it will slide out of place.

Am i applying the tigerseal to the bootlid or the spoiler though? or a little bit on both perhaps?

Is it a Zender Spoiler ?

If so the glue should be applied to the recess on the back where contact will be made, make sure you mark the middle of the tailgate and the spoiler for accurate lining up! Hold it in place for a good 3 mins until it feels secure, then support it with masking tape attached to the top of the spoiler sticking it to the roof.
