Thanks, its my baby :) the only sad thing is I've only just realised how much can be done to these, but its not worth me putting any money into her as unless I lay it up at home, I'm going to have to sell it when I go to uni in september :(

Ohh I really like the pinstripe down the side! Its good to see one with the clear front indicators as thats something I've been thinking about doing to mine!

ABD is a 1.4 from a MK3? golf and a few other cars

Ok then, so ABD refers to the engine size?

ABD is the VW-assigned engine code. Every engine has a unique code, i.e the 1272cc high compression engine from a GT is 3F, the 1272cc lump from a G40 is PY, the 1043cc lump from a Mk3 is AAU (I think!). The 1391cc engine from a mk3 Golf is ABD, it was also fitted to some Seat Ibiza's. The physical engine itself will bolt straight into a Mk3, and coupled with GT engine management and a GT camshaft its a really nice torquey engine :)
