1050cc Polo Match

Featured Replies

ok ok ,.., my mates got a 1050cc Polo Match 1989 with engine Code HZ , its been sat for about 3 years doing nothing ,, a little bit wet inside but nothing serious from what i can see. gonna get under car and in nooks and crannies to check body work . paint on exterior is abit naff, obvious rust spot but i cant see anything super serious ,

it was serviced just before it was left to sit and do nothing so has clean oil in and air filter etc . it also ran before he left it sitting too , so just wondering what people think ?

i can store this and work on it as need be so wont be in a rush to get it on the road , and can work on it over time and get it back on the road . i will try get some pics on here too , car has 71k on clock . was last serviced properly in 2002 and had 61k on clock so not really done alot since then ..

there's not really any mot slips to say what it has had done so unsure if its gonna need some mad work , but again it would be something to work on over time and learn from too , any help appreciated , cheers people :D

i thought so , its a small price to pay as long as it starts and nothing is super apparent that will need doind , how much would be a good price to pay for the car ?

It is a 4 speed gear box too, which I would probably change over to 5 speed ,
