i am selling the GT as a complete car, i dont have time, tools, effort or enough knowledge to strip it down.

the as you can see from the picture, with all damage being to the rear, all components are working. engine is sweet, not rattly, no smoke, no oil loss anything, runs perfect. the car does drive, however has not been started for a while, battery probably flat. i say it runs, it would run, however there is a severed fuel line by the tank, so no fuel getting to the engine. car has not moved since end of september 2010, brakes might have locked a little or a lot.

spec:

standard GT engine and gearbox

pipercross induction kit

standard exhaust with philj decat

lowered 40mm all round on fk springs

14" golf steels, with uniroyal 195/45/14 all round, tread still like new

mk1 golf gti calipers, professionally refurbed, with vented, drilled and grooved discs and ebc pads

I'm placing this ad to gather interest, if you want to make an offer, go ahead, i wont reply until sunday. if i am not happy with the offers, i will put the car on auction on ebay and post the link. please dont ask for parts or what i am willing to accept, it goes to the highest bidder, if it goes for £20, it goes for £20.

i am truly gutted about letting this car go, but it has to, i dont have the space for it anymore having just bought another car.

if you do get this car, you need to be able to trailer it away, i will hold onto it for a week to give you time to make arrangements otherwise, i'll sell it again.

if you are looking to do a GT conversion, you wont find a better standard engine.
