I need the output flange from an older style 085 box since I could only get a 6n one with the right ratios. I figure the easiest way would be to get a whole box and take what I need. So, who can hook me up? Bit pissed since i binned 3 of these in the last year! GRRRR!!!

You will need to replace the oil seal/seat position to do this. Much easier to get a complete offside driveshaft from an L or M reg mk3 polo.

Yeah I know. Just can't seem to find one. The box is obv out of the car. How hard is it to replace the seal/seat? And are these easy to get hold of?

I'm sure I've got the bits you need. I'll have a look over the weekend.

It's not hard to replace the seal especially if you have the box in front of you. Only takes a minute.

Got a free 085 AHD from a GT. Internals are shafted (it locks up in neutral). Its destined to be weighed in, but if you can make use of it, by all means take it.
