Some of you may of seen i had a clutch problem

So i ended up taking everything back out as i found it alot quicker to sort the clutch, the problem was seized to the clutch plate so after un seizing it i wack the back on put gearbox on a dropped it back in a YES! sorted

was so unpaitent i had to drive it with no backbox dam i was loud but dam its fun accelration and throttle response of bike carbs is just amazing

need a decent tank of petrol to go for a drash but I'm happy its working now :)

Lil UPDATE:

added some cone filters on to the carbs and to be honest i think it runs better as its bin said they can be restrictive

will get some pics up soon

Also little update :

Fitted some GT clocks the rev counter dont work atm ,need a wire to go from them to somewhere I'm unsure of that though ill see what a mate says

cheers

Looking good mate.... carbs sound wicked dont they!

Rev Counter wise... depends on how much you changed the wiring from standard.

Youve mounted your coil in the same place and there should be a 2 wire plug going to that sort of area for the original coil pack.

IIRC its the black and red one you need to attatch to the negative on the mk2 coil... hey presto!

car sounds well dude, but driving that road at that speed was full of fail tbh.

  • Author

Cheers man loving it atm

YES! that road sucks ass

to bumpy i just cba to go to a decent road just to make a decent video ,and thats just outa my road so gave it a blast ,for sum reason loks reli slow

ill try that bud i know what plug your obabout aswell its a brown one

Sounds good mate. You need to get yourself a GT box though! The ratios in that video are painful

Sounds great, you definetly need to get a new exhaust lol, sounds like its held on my an elastic band.

Also, like matt says, going that fast on that road was abit stupid, so many places you could have binned it into the side of someone poking out one of them junctions. You dont want that to happen after all of this lol

Also, what gearbox you using? In my opinion i wouldnt bother with a GT box (Sorry jon), yeah they're shorter ratio'd but the amount of time you spend in the powerband is hardly anything so its not as fun for me.

Just my 2p though.
