15x8's et 25, standard arches on a 6n

Featured Replies

really sorry to do this about another thread etc etc.

has anyone ran this spec wheel on standard arches? if so what size tyres did you run?

just done some calculating to current specs 14x6 et23, 185/55/r14 which is standard size tyres. and my car rubs on the back, but according to a calculator the 15x8's would have 27mm less inner clearance and 23mm more out the arches, i think this would put the lip of the rim about flush with my arch, however i dont know how badly theyd rub?

can you even run 8's on the front of a 6n?

any help appreciated, if id need arch work i cba haha

just spent a while on a calculator again,

i have loads of inner clearance, although full lock will be a bigg issue, but its fine to the dampers etc.

outer will have like 24mm more poke, which is like pretty much lip of rim dead in line with arch lip - would 8's front and back be pushing it on standard arches?

i dont want to run silly stretch, 195 45 seems okay, but potentially not enough? but 165 50 seems a bit extreme tbh,

am i fighting a losing battle lol?
