6n on mk2 golf suspension?

i have a 6n polo and i have taken the coilies off it to put on my mk2 golf. and i have put stock mk2 suspension on the 6n but surely its too high?

also i looked up on etka and the springs and shocks share the same part numbers?

so why is it so high?

and, i haven't done the fronts yet

Looks about right. My mate fitted mk2 Golf coilies to his 6N and even with them wound all the way down it was higher than him after picking up.

the fronts fit but you need special spring cups as the golf ones dont fit and the polo ones are too small.

which i made by chopping the mk2 golf cups up and welding the polo cups to the golf ones.

the rear springs will fit the standard polo shocks using the golf spring cups.

your problem is that the rear shocks are too long by about 3/4 inches
