You get 14 day cancellation period on any insurance policy (it's the law) so as long as you insure, drive, cancel, within a 14 day period you can cancel and it won't have cost you a thing!

Dont give info like this out unless you know it is fact across all insurance companies.

I work for a famous one that covers modified cars and all sorts that you would all know.

The fact that you have had insurance cover means that you WILL pay money for it. What if you did that and cancelled on the 13th day of insurance...then someone claimed off you from the 12th day... would you expect the insurance to pay out? Yeah you would, so you would pay for that.

If you are under 21 you will struggle massively to get any short term insurance.

Up to 25 you are looking at 40-60 for a week.

Over 25 looking at 50 for a week (ish).

If you just need to get the thing home then just get a parent/friend/uncle/aunt ect over 50 to get the 2 days insurance...loads easier!

x2 thats bs you either have to pay a deposit on the insurance or they will divide how much you pay per month into the amount of days you had cover for

You don't get it for free, you have to pay for the amount of days you used of cover however you can cancel it legally without any extra charges or whatever within 14 days.

find someone you know that works in a garage, they may have trade insurance
