i have had a look on tyre strech for 195 45 14 on a 8 but dont know wether its enough could anyone tell me the next step down

according to tuv guidlines 195 is the minimum width tyre you can put on an 8j rim,, to be legal, but people run 165's, depends how much stretch u need etc

ah i see so would a 185 50 bring it more stretch or not ?

195/45 are perfect..

they look mint 195, that should be ok with standard arches ? if not i supose higher it 10 mm till i get some arch work done

Depends on offset but I had no issues with 8's and 9's

tuv only applies to each individual tyre make and manufacturer as they all have there own guidelines because there isnt really a law on minumum and maximum tyre stretch just the more you have the more regularly you need to keep the tyre pressure up.
