I do alot of motorway miles and wondering whats the best way to stop stones chip on the bumper and bonnet?

And yes...I have heard of a gaybra! But not keen on it!

So any ideas?

You not going to be able to stop it mate, Unless you start sweeping all the roads before you leave and close the road so no one else is on there with you,

Best tips i can give you are dont follow to close an try not to follow a lorry due to they will flick up shit from the hard shoulder

the best way if your really concerned about your paint work is to keep your car off the road but for most of us that is not an option the bras will protect your bonnet but for your bumper you can get special film that covers all the paintwork.

you can get stick on clear plastic protectors which when applied aren't really visible. Very much doubt they make one for a polo off the shelf (they're normally for things like ferraris, porsches etc...) but you might be able to get some thing made up somewhere.

what about the rest of the front of the car?

Its inevitable that it'll get stone chips from a lot of motor way miles. If you really really that bothered about it get another bonnet/bumper/grille and use those for your every day driving and then when you go to shows/meets quickly clash the other non-chipped stuff on.

Personal I'd live it with and get the chips repaired once a year.

That protective film looks interesting. Gonna give it a go and see how it goes!

Talking about gimp masks, do they actually make a full front bra, so it covers the bumper and bonnet. Might look ugly but probably do the job!
