Hey people, just bought myself a wee project... one of my mates has had it lying in his garage for over a year now and just wasnt going to do anything with it... i made him a very silly offer for it and he took it so happy days for me! :-D

so here's how she stands...

Lowered 60mm

New discs

New Pads

New Callipers

15's with 4 brand new tyres

jvc head unit

It has no MOT or TAX but all the work has been done and will fly through it, cant wait! :-D

now for the bad bits...

Usual rusty back valance

slight rust on rear arches

interior...rank... will need a lot of work to get it back up to scratch...

and thats about the just of it... my plans are to get all above sorted and really get the car cleaned up...

then i will be changing/modifying a few bits on the car to make it my own...

here's a few pics just to show how messy the car is and give an idea of what I'm dealing with

if anyone happens to like the rear lights on it then i'll do a deal for some standard one's or 6n2's lol

either way they will not be staying on the car, just not my cup of tea!

Hopefully get the front end back together this coming weekend.

With a bit of luck ill make a start cleaning it too!

due to the arrival of my 6n2 GTi this will no longer be getting put back on the road... going to take all the suspension, brakes, wheels, anything worth keeping really and scrap the rest... if theres anything anyone wants off it then let me know... or if someone wants the whole car as is then make me an offer for it...

no mate, there's nothing wrong with it... not written off or anything...

i got it off my mate because i wanted a polo, since then i have got myself

a 6n2 GTi so i dont want to spend any money on it, would rather spend the

cash on my new car... its worth a few pound in bits and scraping the car...

theres all the old mot's for it and the original handbooks and that...only have the green slip from the v5 though...

well 4 brand new tyres and alloys in good nick...

new discs, pads, calipers, and flexi's...

new ht leads, dizzy and arm...

new coil pack...

60mm lowering springs on it...

that alone has to be worth a few hundred quid??

say £450 for the whole thing??
