this is my v reg 1999 6n flash red polo,

bbs ra custom sprayed red and white and lowered 100ml on raceland coilovers

next things to be done are 16v front bumper

smooth tailgate

and exhaust system :)

So how was it done?

why did they say it couldnt be done? straight fit wasnt it?

the chassis between the two are exactly the same arent they?

looks sweet though dude. polos were destined to be slammed. they look so much better!

the 6n2 top mounts are different be interesting to see how you did it?

i presume you already had 6n2 coils or got them at a good price to bother messing

Some 6n2 coilovers (such as ones 3 of my mates own) come in 6n form but you change the springs so you could of just put the 6n ones on and left the seperate springs?

i orderd 6n coils from phillj

i got sent 6n2 coils so though fuck it there going on

straight fit no problems only little worry was 6n top cap had to go on the 6n2 springs they just fit over but when they are one they are fine.

I've bin told i cant go silly low cus I'm on 6n2 coils but the polos low enough sitting at 100ml with another 25 to go :p

Yea man keep the 8v bumpers ^^^^ I've always wanted 16v bumper but can't be ass to get them now!! So I'm getting sum ally cats an decking it even more :)

the only 16v bumper i would get would be the rear just bcause they go abit lower than the 8v ones

put them all the way down just to see how they look for funzies

the bottom of the fronts rusty and been painted with hammerite by previouse owners so u can guess what happend when i got the jet wash out :p

i can get a 16v front bumper unpainted for 45 then sprayed for 40
