WOOOOP :p My springs came today

I couldn't resist fitting the rears tonight when i got home from work :)

Old vs New 40mm Rear springs

The new arch gap (about 10mm but i'm hoping that it might drop a tiny bit once its settled in a bit more)

I didn't do a before picture but you can see the difference from the earlier photos

The rears took me about an hour to do the pair but i know the fronts are much more taxing so i'm gonna leave them til saturday when i get a little more time.

looks nice man, i love how the smoked lights turned out, hows it sit on the 60/40 I'm tempted to go 80mm on my one i picked up today but I'm not sure

I was really chuffed today when this turned up :) ....

So i ripped off the HUGE old stock one for the third time since owning the car for 3 weeks :p

(excuse the wires and half the dash missing) :p

Then scratched my head for a few seconds before figuring out how to wire up the horn..... Then VWA LAAAA.....

Only ordered it yesterday so i'm pretty happy with that result :p Plus it'll look good in the Golf too

I actually think whoever designed the mk3 polo front suspension needs to be hunted down and killed before he causes any more damage!! You have to take literally EVERYTHING off to get any sense out of it what so bloody ever don't you!! Now came across the problem that the driveshaft is pretty much welded in the N/S hub!! Made up a home brew hub puller out of a 10mm thick bit of steel and 3 bolts but no luck what so ever!!! :( Gonna borrow one from my mate tomorrow to see if i can shed some light on the situation :p Its sitting amazingly low on the O/S for the time being though

After alot of swearing at the weekend i got the fronts completed

Sooo she now looks like this on the driveway .....

Had a little extra time to burn so i got a head unit i had laying around wired in properly With a constant live to the yellow to keep the memory and the red on a switch so i can turn it on and off manually as and when i want to. So the interior is finally looking nice and tidy :p

Now all i'm waiting for is for someone to tell me they've got some GT arches that they will sell me

Reminds me of mine from back in the day before I colour-coded it and fitted GT arches and sills.

Cheers mate Just had a look at yours and i must say i am liking the half coded bumpers and mirrors :p

Had a set of 14" passat GT alloys kicking around but covered in overspray... Took most of the overspray off em and had a trial fit on the golf. Fill the arches a little bit more and they've got 195/60/14 falken tyres on them all round which beats the 175/70/13 budgets on the tarantula's

Not too sure wether i like em' tho ? Opinions maybee?

Oh and the wires underneath are because its been sat most of the weekend with the radio on while i've been busy on it and the battery went flat :(

anychance u could take a photo of the exhaust tip from under neaf to see how it sits and that ? really thinking of getting one if they sit ok and that

I think i'm on to a winner with them... Wider, Better tyres, IMO look better

Then i got bored on my day off and decided to go and pick these up :) ....

So tonight i've tried them on for size and i do likey alot personally I know T's aren't to everyones taste but i like them

I've got a little more arch gap being a low pro tyre on them so a little bit more driveable too
