Panda is right badge and plates will make a huge difference, and if theres any way to reduce the gap in the bumper it will make a massive difference. Dont know mk4's well enough to knwo if theres owt you can do besides smoothing it though!

ye i was intending on getting some legal pressed plates but u have to send off like driving license or something like logbook dont you?

No, there are good plate makers out there who dont require documents.

i wouldn't buy any pressed plates after my fine, unless its for convoys, shows or pictures

But yeah, as already said, a brand new plate would be better

Pressed plates are gay, just got straight to VW and pay about £18 for standard plates with actual 'Volkswagen Ridgeway (the one in Oxford) underneath, make it look fresh.

And maybe a clean wouldnt go a miss

I cleaned it last weekend. and i haven't even been driving it to work what a joke ey :). Going to get some new plates made up this weekend. I dont want bolts showing anymore so where can i get some sticky foam pads from? Will halfrauds do them?

From VW buddy! Literally just walk in and ask for everything at the parts desk, sticky pads are quite big so you only need three (one on each end and one in the middle)

I totally disagree! "uk legal pressed plates" look good IMO! better than cheap plastic ones..

However u do run the risk of the police having a bad day and pull you over.

The Dubmeister plates are legal anyway, they can try and do you for them but they're in the wrong

yeh thats right.. aslong as the plate has the place they were bought and their postcode on them and the bs au 145d on them they're legal , which dubmeister ones do, i ran a set on my 6n and never had any bother with them

is it just me or does driverside look a lot lower? Or is it just the photo?
