badcially, my battery kept running down etc and had few bump starts and now sorted that problem but my heater blower doesnt seem to work.

However the heater does still work whether you leave it on hot or cold, it comes through but no blower, any ideas? checked all the fuses, they were fine and guessing as heating works matrix is working.

the second thing is when i leave it on hot setting and windscreen heater switch the whole dashboard gets sooo hot , and my cd player even hoter, cant even take a cd out without burning myself, is this usual for a mk3 or is something wrong?

If the blower isn't working check the resistor. Usually they will work on the highest setting even if the resistor has failed. Not sure where the resistor is on yours, earlier ones where under the bonnet, some are inside the heater duct - anyone?
