GT spares

- GT camshaft – not sure of milage. Certainly looks OK all lobes have good shape with no flat spots. £40 sold to bigjakey

- 2x throttle bodies. 1 wedged, 1 de-wedged with rivets. Both have TPS but no guarantees that they work. £10 wedged, £12 de-wedged. dewedged sold to Ben.r

- 2x sets GT injectors. Untested but look OK. £10 a set

- Fuel rail with FPR. £5

- Injector jackets, 2 full sets £8 a set

- GT ECU loom. In good condition. £15 sold to tarn_polo

- Fahrvergnugen Tuning GT chip – stock limit. All pins straight etc.£15

- GT ECU – not functioning when I bought it. I suspect the previous owner handled the map chip badly, but am unable to confirm. £5/Offers?

Other items

- G40/VWII brake setup. All bits have seen maybe 10k max motorway miles (i.e very little braking). New replica callipers. Painted red. As you would expect from virtually new callipers all the seals and sliders are spot on. Both bleed screws are free. Interestingly the pedal travel was longer with a standard master cylinder than with the factory VWI callipers, so I fitted a 22mm master cylinder (possibly the calliper pistons are slightly larger?). This made for a nice setup, with near-standard pedal travel but stronger stopping force. Suggest they are used in combination with a 22mm master cylinder for this reason. Could do with the paint touching up. Will include the callipers, vented discs (Pagid I think), pads (ATE), pad retaining clips, half a tin of red calliper paint and calliper bolts (long ones are were new from VW) all of which have a good deal of life left. All carefully stored so the discs and pads are together from each side. £65 bargain.

- Pair -40mm Spax Mk2-Mk3 (possible Mk1?) rear springs. Have seen barely 6months use. Paint in great condition. £15

- Jabbasport G40 charger inlet collar £9 sold to grundgeisdead

- G40/NZ inlet manifold. £10

- Pair of door handle armoured plates. For a Golf, but fit MK3 Polos by widening the bolt hole on the door’s edge. Could use a lick of paint. £10 ono

- 4x 13”, 4x100, I think 5.5j ET43 MK4 alloys – look like http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-REVOLUTION-SPORT-...les_CarParts_SM. Includes centre caps. A fair bit of curbing on every wheel, but cheap. £15ono all 4

- 2x SPI inlet manifolds from 1.3 AAV engines. One is very early and looks like a MK2 item (the TB had an adapter plate to make it fit), the second is from an L reg. £3each L reg one prov sold Mike_Rigby

- GT/AAV/AAU/NZ exhaust manifold. Two broken studs on the downpipe connection, but both have broken proud of the face so removal should be much easier. £3

- MK2 Golf GTI steering wheel – quite worn. £3

- 4 x quite nice 13” wheels trims. Fairly modern looking with VW centre logo, suit the standard steels well. £8 ono

- Standard Mk3 polo wheel trims. All have scratches. About 6 total. Free

No time wasters please. Photos available upon request.

If you don’t think the prices above are fair then make me an offer by PM.

Thanks for looking

All other remaining items are now available for pick up from Coventry during working hours, Loughborough in the evenings or Manchester by arrangement.

sorry mate bit of a newbie would these brakes fit on my mk2 saloon do i need the master cylinder

they will fit mate, and its personal preference as to fitting the larger MC, its not required though, i have that setup on my mk2 and it has gone from a 55bhp 1.3 to a 1.4 16v then 1.6 16v and the braking setup has been fine.

that was standard master cylinder, new brake fluid, a setup similar to chris's and psd braided hoses.
