6k is the brighter with very slight blue tint

8k marginally dimmer but with more of a blue tint.

higher the K number the bluer and dimmer the light. anything above 8K is pointless as the light output is poor and the blue tint is very noticeable. Usable light is between 3000k & 8000K.

But may still get you the attention of people with very blue lights fitted.
