afaik, its just the cage thats different, thats all that i changed on my mk2 (along with the ARB and gearbox mount) when i fitted a 5 speed to a normally 4 speed car

I'm keeping 4 speed though

I have a four speed linkage in good conditon going spare if you wanted it. PM me and we can sort it. I use a 5 speed version on my Derby and it's taller than the 4 speed version for sure.

there are two types of linkage, the early

SHIFT MECHANISM

FOR 4-SPEED MANUAL GEARBOX
