Right we to start,

Polo is parked nice and safe in a locked bit of land with a locked garage,

My polo has Remote C/L but i removed the pump due to my daily need one and this was only beeing parked up any ho

came to the car to start it about the 15th of dec, open'd it but when i locked it the baral broke ie cant get in to it now for the twist

Its delocked on the P/S and also on the boot and the boot is on a popper which wont work due to the battery has been removed,

So i need to some how get in to it pop the bonnet fit the battery, Refit C/L pump then have use the remote to open the rest of the doors,

But how do i get in to the car in the 1st place ?

If you could get the grill off then it should be possible to open the bonnet catch (a method i have tried on other cars but not the polo).

Could try a coathanger down the side of the window to try and shimmy the mechanism (while this is easier on the rear doors it can be done to front ones).

as last resorts You could try to force down the front window or ram a screwdriver into the barrel

I dont see the need for PM's its the same methods regardless of car and age. Polo's are not the most secure of cars anyway.

Some car manufacturers still havnt solved the issue of using the half a tennis ball method yet. or the vulnerability when a certain point in the door panel is whacked the window drops down.

If youre a bit handy wih electrics, id say try and rig up a trickle charge through one of the lights? my dad had to do it the other month, it worked but I'm fucked if i know how though, sorry.

aaahh i see theres no battery, might be worth a shot though.

Cut the slats of the grill and get to the bonnet pull, I'm sure you've got another grill somewhere :p

But thats still no use as the C/L Pump has been removed so i cant use the remote

But surely you dont need the C/L pump for the boot popper? If you plug the battery in that should work?

Button for the boot is in the car, Never got round to wiring it to the remote

That the plan I'm thinking i've got a spare window, So looks like I'm going to have to vinyl the window then brake it, Or might try a glass cutter

My sisters boyfriend locked his keys in the car the other day, took a grand total of 45 seconds to get in. Wont work in your case though sorry

You can get kits from sealy for breaking into cars.

Its a little plastic wedge like a door stop, you push this down the top of the door. Then you slide a little bag down which has a pump on it, pump up the bag with the hand pump. Then you can get a rod down to pop open the lock/handle from the inside.

After you have deflated the bag your door will be left undamaged.

ps. I'm not a car thief, just work in a large refurb centre, and lots of new cars can go into deadlock mode and lock keys in the car.

I knoware i was thinking thats as i was reading it

wedge in the top of the door as stated above, (polo mk?) if manual windows wind down the window with a hook on a strong length of rod, done this before after friend had locked his keys in the car.

mk4 i assume after reading the op again.

if it is a mk4 polo, then jack up the car and you can pull the bonnet cable to open the bonnet, then you can connect the battery.

how is the passenger door openned if delocked? popper or just reach over from drivers side? if you have flush fitting door pulls how do you unlock it from inside? must be some sort of knob to pull up?

Thing with that is you have a wobbly door top for ever more. Festest easiest way is do a window (with break the glass or just cut the rubber out.

To be honest, if we've got advice this bad in an open area of the forum, I feel totally safe about my cars security
