as you see above I'm new!.. recently passed my test went out and bought my second polo mk3 1.4, my first was a mk1 which was a gorgeous mint colour

But my step brother decided to take it for a spin and crash and sell it before i come back from a weekend away.. which was nice of him!

anyway yeah I'm in the blackpool area, hopefully i can make it to a few meets soon!

and i may need some help too :-D

looks clean but you need a proper mk3 lol. your car is most commonly known as a mk4 or 6n on this site but to vw its the mk3 and yes watch out for all the dogs with two dicks on here

Hmmmm i do have some plans but I'm not to sure yet all I'm sure on so far is a i need some coilovers lmao

dont know which to buy or how to fit them but i want to give it a go :-D

and all I've done so far with it is wash, clay bar, polish, wax and buy a new radio! but i have done all that in the first couple of days of getting it lol

Sounds like your off to a good start! Yea defo get coilovers, most people go for budget sets... they do the job lol

Ebays full of them and theres also a man on here that supplys them i believe at a good price :wink::thumbsup:

and if your lowering it with coilovers dont forget your tracking i know a person who didnt bother and he went through a pair of yokos in 400 miles

HOPEFULLY!! ....my brother the mechanic will be helping me soo i will probably be reminded about my tracking!..

welcome to the forum :-D one thing to remember with coilovers is that once you get wheels tucking in under the arch some places don't have the equipment to do the tracking as theirs require to sit on the tyre whereas some others have ones that attach to the wheel itself.

But yes coilovers + alloys makes a massive difference to a stock mk4 on stilts, and don't take anything anyone says on here too seriously... If you can't take life with a pinch of salt you may find some members offensive :lol:
