Bought this mk3 coupe project today. Montana green 1.0l boulevard with 130k miles. long mot and tax pretty straight, no major rust anyway, few tiny bits of surface rust but solid as really. Drove the beast 10 miles home and it ran sweet.

List of things I want to do;

- New bonnet.

- General tidy up/ clean and rust protect the surface rust.

- Put those gunmetal p-slots on in the background of the pic.

- Respray in the same colour green.

- 80mm drop. maybe 60mm? not sure what height to run on the p's?

- GT engine conversion.

- GT/G40 interior.

- Some sort of music box. not even a tape player in at the moment.

Nice colour that ! Think it will look the part with p-slots and a 60mm drop ! As 80mm may not be possible on 14s haha :) nice tho ! Ima keep and eye on it

Tried the pslots on at dinner time at work today, i think they look good but I'm gonna sell them to my mate while I'm working on it and buy some other wheels once I've finished it.

I'm thinking get the stance right first and the pick some wheels to suit it.

just bought a new bonnet, smoked rears, smooth tailgate a new wing mirror and g40 rear bench.

Picked up the new parts, rammed them all in the back of my 6n. MAKE IT FIT!

Picked up a pair of g40 front seats yesterday, the parts are piling up now!

Just outta interest whats happening with the plastic wheeltrims if your changing the wheels over to alloys? They look in good nick I wouldnt mind buying them..

Thats fine, its only because 1 or 2 of mine are quite scuffed too! Idk how much there worth, say like a fiver plus p&p? or is that too low?

14" wheels look so much better on a mk3 than wide 13". Trust!! :-)

G40s itching to go in. gonna give em a good clean first.

Started stipping the old interior out, the old seats are available for free to collector. (they're them oes that say volkswagen all over them in multi colours.

Also powdercoated my mates wellers for him today in baby blue. mmmmmmmmmmm.

Also bought a litre of montana green today, some thinners and some laquer. gonna respray the whit bonnet i picked up and test the colour

the OG bonnet is dented bad and rusty also. the new ones a minter though :)
