I ended up taking the far side driveshaft out and forcing it out!

I've got sunday off though now so we can still work on the cars :D :D

haha i know how you feel mate, i went through the same, only i didn't have a unit so mine sat on my drive half prepp'ed with the wings off, it's not a pretty site

looks like you're getting somewhere though. the windows just push out once you get the inner lip of the seal over the lip of the quarter panel and windscreen surround. and i used the same window seals when they went back in and have had no problems.
