Innocent smoothie bottle

Spruced up the bay and test-fitted the brace to see how much I need to trim the engine cover

thanks for the heads up on the smoothies brace looks very, very shiny.

Yep, after much analysis with CFD, it makes it 10000% moar fastz

Ok so today I have been very busy with the car:

First I cut an intercooler vent in the arch

Then made up a mesh to protect it from stones etc

Sprayed it matte black

Nice and subtle all fitted

Next, I set about fitting my strut brace

Marked out the bolt holes with engineering tippex

Drilled 4mm pilot holes

Then 8mm ones for the bolts

Some considerable swearing later

Tigersealed my spoiler on

Result

I then yellowed up my rear calipers

And touched up the fronts

some more nice progress, can't help but think those calipers would have looked better in Minz Green

Meh, each to their own! Just wanted to do something different from the normal red, and in some lights my paint can be a bit purple so I figured yellow was a good contrast
