Right so i needed a smaller engined car, as i haven't got a job at the min, and to be honest I'm only using it whilst I'm not at uni.

So sorted out a deal with Max max on here.

Here are a few pics in its current state, i have taken it off the road for around a month as i dont need it at the min, so it gives me time to get it cleaned up. When i got the car home, after about a week i took of the arch and sill trims as i wasnt feeling them. it seems someone had a go at rolling and flareing the arches as they were out of shape. I've managed to bend and hammer the arch back into shape. A light skim of filler ready to be sanded down to finalise the shape again.

Still a lot of work to do as I've only just started cleaning them up.

There was also two dings o the passenger door. Shitty ones to try get to from the inside.

Plans were to retrim the interior, with mk2f/mk3 dash. Was going to raise the front around 20mm as roads are just crap around cov at the min. Also a nice set of wheels etc etc.

I have changed my mind on it, and now only going to tidy it up, get rid of rust spots etc, then come june sell it on as ill be finished uni by then.

It looks a right mess at the min, but within a month it will be all cleaned up nice and tidy. Will be staying on the steelies, but i have centre caps and they will be cleaned up.

Wow you've been busy, Can't believe the trim set was hiding that much!

Getting a clio williams, but i am going to have a m1 scirocco on the side aswell. Once i finish uni i will have the funds to be able to afford it, so i might aswell.

I've been busy the past few days, just sanding down to bare metal where there has been rust, on doors and such. I have reshaped both rear arches, they just need going through different grades to get it smooth and clean.

Yeah i will be advertising it on here, so hopefully someone will take it on, and give her a more powerful heart.

oh and an interior pic, seats from a Coraddo, the back it stripped out, i have started putting sound deadening in, and it will be boarded, with a couple of speakers hidden away. As i ride bmx the bike is always in and out f the car, so rear seats tend to get anoying. Plus you cannot exactly fit people comfortably in the back of a polo.

I would have thought he mk2 door be different to be honest. Many thanks for the offer. Ill find out and get back to you. Its a shitter but its just one of those things.

The doors are both the same. The only differences are the window rubber seals, and the mouldings. Both or which you would swap onto a replacement door after having it painted.

Glad to hear it's been sorted. They don't always bend back nicely. A freind had a Coupe thieves broke into, and the door had been bent out, and bent back to shape, but it meant getting the window up and down was nigh on impossible as the channels were that badly out of shape! It annoys me now that older cars are becoming prime targets for break in's due to ease of forced entry.

The window is working as it should, its just annoying, and more annoying that they did it right next to my front window. I think my dogs would have heard the person if it wasnt so god damn windy, as it sits on stones. Just gotta get my bike back now, got people in every area in cov looking out for it.

Thats the only prob with older cars, just too easy to get in and a hold of.

To be honest i havetn driven it much at all recently. Its going as soon as i get all the work done on it. Make it clean and presentable, with a few new lil touches.

Hows the rocco going? I'm hoping to get another in the next month or so.

Pretty good, Sorted quite alot of things with it.

Gonna be taking it off the road when my polo's back and kicking. Don't know what ill be doing with it though.

The work is coming a long nicely, hard trying to find time around writing my dissertation and about 4 other design projects. Rear arches have been primered and first coat of green back on, need to order more paint. I've jus got to finish of the doors ready to be painted, sort the wheels out. The car is minging dirty at the min needs a good clean and all that business.

No point washing it yet as it just gets dust, mud and all that kinda crap on it. The wheels are gonna be cleaned up, i was going to smooth the bumpers and spray them but too much time to do it at this present time.

It still needs a bit of work, the front right arch is dented need to pull it out abit and sort it, its starting to come together. I'm going to be debadging the boot, re redstripe the bumpers which will follow along the body work with polo writin on both rear quarters. May polish up the tarantula lips with black centres if can be arsed. I want to get it looking real good, but then i dont as it will be going soon haha.
