For sale is the current exhaust system on my GT. It consists of a stainless steel 4 branch tubular manifold inc. decat, straight through pipework to a stainless backbox. I'm currently lowered around 70mm and it hasn't scraped once. (Am running stock GT Coupe wheels/tyres). Coupled with a chip, Golf AFM and cone filter I got 95BHP last weekend on the Rolling Road Day.

It isn't off my car yet, I can't give an exact date when it'll be off but it will be in the next few weeks. Collection available from Oxford, or Bristol (prior arrangement). The system is in two sections; manifold/downpipe and the centre section and backbox. It isn't overly loud, nice burble but not chavvy. Only selling as it's redundant to my needs.

do you know if the manifold will fit a 1043cc mk2?

Bore is 1.75" Which will fit stock MK3 downpipes, not sure about MK2's but you may need a reducer knocked up for around £6 on ebay.

The whole system is in 2 parts; manifold and then centre and backbox are combined. The manifold has been shortened by around 6" from the previous owner so if I split the two items the buyer of the centre pipe and backbox will have to cut a small length of the centre pipe to line up and the manifold or centre pipe will need a connector of around 6", again, an exhaust place can supply a connector/sleeve for a small fee.

Does the manifold knock on the ARB atall mate? And do you have any pictures of how snug it fits to the underbody?

It does knock on the ARB however it's nothing a set of poly ARB mounts can't sort! Although this is my second 4 branch and it no way vibrates as much as my other 4 branch, can't really notice it if i'm being honest.

I can get pics yes, may be a few days as when I finish work it's dark!

Yeah thats the problem that i think ni on all of the 4branches do so i've been on the look out for some g-laderseite ones, as i dont think philj makes them anymore?
