History:

- Purchased the car in Feb. 07

- 17k miles with ALL previous MOTs and service history

- Jun 10: New JVC KD-R301 CD/radio and matching JVC speakers £200

- Aug 10: New front (manifold) to back stainless steel custom fitted with standard note (not 'Boy-Racer'!! ) £350

Plus:

- Very clean car

- Very low mileage, just turned 28k

- All previous MOT certs from '89 to now

- Very low insurance: £120 Fully comp with 2 yrs NCB with Admiral (bonus accellerator)

- Reliable...starts first time, every time

Minus:

- Water temp light flashes intermitently, even when cold. Especially when its wet. I think there is a poor earth somewhere, but haven't had time to trace

- Door membrains need to be replaced, small amounts of water leaking into the car when it rains

- I really don't want to part with the car!!!!

As an aside, I've collected a garage load of spare parts to keep the Mk2 on the road, including:

- New replacement fuel tank

- All glass (except windscreen)
