My climatronic in the gti today started flashing a random diagnose sign after turning the car on!

Any ideas what it means?

possibly air con needs gassing, turn you are car on then turn you are air con on and listen for a clicking noise under the bonnet or check the air con pulley is turnin there r 2 parts to it, you are main pulley and the inner pulley which is activated by a clutch

Ummm dont wanna sound stupid....but how do you turn the a/c on in climatronic?

Just has buttons saying auto/econ! Whats econ?

just at a guess, econ would be economy...? but as for A/C on climatronic, i have no idea, haven't got it unfortunately :(

Economoy? What does that do?

Select Auto. (To switch on Air-Con)

E-Con is where the car tries to regulate the temperature inside the cabin without the use of the air-con. (i.e. outside air only)
