Want 15mm Spacers, Don't want to replace bolts.

Featured Replies

Hey guys, i spent like £40 on new bolts for my Rota's, from Rota, so they fit perfect, but i want to space the rear out about 15mm and i'm annoyed cause i'm pretty sure i'll have to buy new bolts for the back because the ones that work like spacers are a minimum of 25mm

Suggestions?

have i made it clear in what i want, essentially, spacers, that work like adapters... or 4x100 to 4x100 adapters, 15mm!

do these exist? if so, link to buy plx?

thanks, Alex.

stub axle spacers will allow you to keep using the existing bolts you have purchased as they bolt behing the drum disk in the same manner as if you were to fit a shim....

whats so special about the rota bolts? are they a particular profile on the bolt head?? radii tapered etc?

The fact i spent £40 on them makes me not want to replace them, but they are specifically seated to seat in my wheels.

Stub axles, hard to fit? Could a monkey (me) fit them? It has a warning about drum brakes, someone explain?

thanks, Alex.

edit: looking at them axle spacers, i'm feeling them!

editx2: after further research, i'ma need my arches rolling to get even close to hellaflush.

You carnt get System B Centric spacers (which work like Hub adapters) unless they are 30mm or wider. haven't seen any smaller than that.

So your other option is to get axle spacers for the rear which just leaves the front and i carnt see how your going to space the fronts out without wheel spacers mate. You might just have to get longer bolts and use spacers up front.

O and fitting the axle spacers a weedy guy like you can do it  hardest bit is getting the rear drum of which isnt realy that hard.
